MINIMUM WAGE UPDATE Please don’t forget that the minimum wage in both New York and New Jersey increased as of 1/1/2023. In New York increases vary in different geographic areas, so it will be necessary for you to check the internet for the appropriate new minimum wage in the area of New York in which you work. In New Jersey, the new minimum wage throughout the State will increase to $14.13 per hour. Please be sure to check your pay stubs if you are affected by the minimum wage in either New York or New Jersey.
