President John T. Niccollai reported today that contract negotiations scheduled for Tuesday, January 27, 2026, have been canceled because the company refuses to modify or remove their demand that members must co-pay for healthcare benefits.
President Niccollai stated, “We will not participate in a meeting which is solely about how much the company can extract from us by way of an enormous give back.” Obviously, this latest event is a serious setback to our desire to reach a contract worthy of ratification by the membership.

Today, January 13, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., ACME Markets and Local 464A met for the second time in order to achieve a new collective bargaining agreement for the contract expiring on Feb 21, 2026.
The chief spokesperson for ACME Markets was Dan Dosenbach and the chief spokesperson for the Union was President John T. Niccollai. At this meeting, the company presented the Union with a list of counterproposals, which were reviewed in detail, and commented upon by both sides.

Today, December 30, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., ACME Markets and Local 464A commenced negotiations in order to achieve a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. The present contract expires on February 21, 2026.
