Annual Scholarship Awards:
A total of twenty scholarships are awarded each year.
The three top awards are $2,000.00 each year during the four years of college or university attendance.
The twelve remaining awards are $2,000.00 for the first year of college or university attendance.

Available to Members of continuous good standing for at least twelve months immediately preceding the June 1 application deadline or their eligible dependents.

TELEPHONIC MARCH 14, 2023 MEMBERSHIP MEETING
The General Membership Meeting scheduled for TUESDAY, MARCH 14, 2023 at 7:00 P.M. will be held telephonically. Members who wish to participate should contact JoAnn Piscitelli at 973-256-6790 to verify membership and obtain access instructions for participating.
To hold the meeting telephonically, we must notify the Host Company as to the approximate number of participants. We must, therefore, ask members who would like to participate to contact JoAnn Piscitelli no later than Friday, March 10, 2023.

Effective January 1, 2023, you have the ability to access an online price comparison tool to estimate how
much the Welfare Fund will pay toward medical services, and how much you will be responsible for
paying. The price comparison tool will provide personalized out-of-pocket cost and the Horizon BCBS of
New Jersey rates for covered health care items and services. Information will be provided on 500
different healthcare items and services; effective January 1, 2024, the tool will expand to cover all items

KROGER-ALBERTSONS MERGER TALKS
UPDATE
Your Union has presented to the Companies, both through the International Union and the Local Union, a series of questions and concerns relating to this merger. Some of our questions have been answered, but most issues are awaiting action by the Federal Trade Commission.
As we know, in areas where Kroger and Albertsons are operating stores in close proximity to one another, the FTC can require the divestiture of some stores. UFCW Local 464A does not have that issue since we have no operating Kroger Stores in our jurisdiction. This issue...
