IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT JOHN T. NICCOLLAI - THURSDAY OCTOBER 15, 2026

PROPOSED CLOSING OF KING’S LOCATIONS

President Niccollai reported that representatives of King's Supermarkets, Inc. had contacted the Union regarding the proposed closure of two (2) stores located in Whitehouse Station and Hillsdale, New Jersey.

President Niccollai advised that the Union has requested that the Company provide, in writing, all pertinent information and documentation concerning the proposed store closures, including whether all affected bargaining unit members would be offered continued employment at other Company locations.

President Niccollai further reported that Company officials indicated they had not yet finalized their plans regarding the proposed closures and the placement of affected employees. The Company stated that once its plans have been finalized, the Union would be notified in writing.

President Niccollai advised Company officials that the Union expects the Company to consider its obligations under the New Jersey WARN Act, to the extent applicable, when developing its plans. Additionally, the Union requested that the Company meet with UFCW Local 464A to discuss potential severance arrangements, transfer opportunities, and any other employment options available to affected bargaining unit members.

President Niccollai concluded by advising that Union Delegates would remain available to address any questions, issues, or concerns raised by members regarding the proposed store closures.
